ALCI Student Ambassador Form

Thank you for your interest in the American Language and Cultural Immersion (ALCI) program! We are seeking motivated greater Boston Area students to act as volunteer ambassadors for a group of visiting Chinese students. This is a two-session community service opportunity that American students with an environment to act as a representative of the United States and guide international visitors seeking to learn more about US language and culture!

Our Chinese students will be taking English classes in Boston University from 9am to 12pm on weekdays, and then will travel to various Boston locations in the afternoon. Our American students will sit on in the classroom hours and act as "language partners" to help . Volunteers who wish to participate in afternoon excursions will also have the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge of Boston area attractions and American history.
