A Cross-Coastal Music and Education ExperienceEvery winter, Boston Roundtable sends nearly a hundred students to Seattle to participate in the University of Washington’s Pacific Northwest Band Festival. In addition to receiving tutoring from internationally-recognized musical clinicians, students will receive master classes and special training from U Washington faculty. High-performing students selected from each instrument will also have the opportunity to perform in front of all participants at the end of festival!
Boston Roundtable also supplements students’ northwest experience with museum trips, a visit to the Space Needle, and more! The fun doesn’t stop after Seattle; after the festival, students travel to the east coast for an exciting week of touring top schools, visiting US landmarks, and learning more about how American schools function. The itinerary includes a full run of the east coast, and all stops are supplemented with educational materials and activities to acclimate students to the American school systems! |
