This past Summer 2019, we were thrilled to launch our residential program with Connecticut's Cheshire Academy! Across twelve days, students took elective courses in their areas of academic focus, and participated in weekend excursions to nearby cities and colleges. Our curriculum, co-designed with Cheshire faculty, covered a variety of S.T.E.A.M. topics geared to help students develop skills that allow them to contribute to a global community.
The Summer S.T.E.A.M. camp, along with ALCI, were also Boston Roundtable's first ever programs to integrate international and domestic American students! We are grateful for this amazing opportunity to promote cross-cultural communication in a bigger way than ever, and thank all students and staff alike to get involved. We can't wait for next year!

Social Curriculum
Recreational and ‘team-based’ educational activities will take place on Cheshire Academy’s beautiful, historic campus. Students will dorm with a roommate, just like the American students do during the school year! Each evening, special activities are prepared for students for social interactions, which is an integral part of our program. Beyond the classroom, we venture out on fun-filled field trips to local attractions including, Mystic Seaport, CT, Boston and New York City. |

About Cheshire Academy
Cheshire Academy is a stronghold for American private schools that has been enabling student success for centuries. Cheshire has always approached its education with the goal of enabling their students to compete on an international scale, and is currently the only independent school in Connecticut to offer an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme. Located in the idyllic town of Cheshire, Connecticut, the academy provides all the advantages of the typical rural New England town while also boasting proximity to valuable resources such as New York City and Yale University.
In 1794, Cheshire Academy was the tenth private school ever founded in the United States, and is currently celebrating 225 years of history!
