This year we are thrilled to announce the continuation of our S.T.E.A.M. program at a brand new location, Pomfret School in northeastern Connecticut! Enrollment will be limited, so sign up while you can!
Our summer S.T.E.A.M. program began in the summer of 2019 at nearby Cheshire Academy, and was our first ever self-promoted program to integrate international and domestic American students! Across twelve days, students took elective courses in their areas of academic focus, and participated in weekend excursions to nearby cities and colleges. We are excited to continue this program in 2020, our biggest summer yet! |

Meet Our Camp Director!
Dylan Collins is the mastermind behind the S.T.E.A.M. Camp since its inception, and takes a hands-on approach to make sure every student and parent leaves with a positive experience! Dylan is in communication with our overseas stakeholders well before the start of the program and is in touch with the school long after the program ends to ensure all loose ends are tied up.
Dylan has over twenty years of experience working with both international and domestic students in both formal school and summer program settings. With Boston Roundtable he's also had the opportunity to travel to San Francisco and hone his skills working with Chinese scholars in our study programs. Prior to working at Boston Roundtable, he was the director of summer camp programs at Sacred Heart School in Kingston MA and has also taught abroad in Taiwan! |
A Peek Into Our Curriculum
Core Curriculum
At Boston Roundtable’s Summer S.T.E.A.M. Camp, students have the opportunity to learn a variety of disciplines based on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. These hands-on, project-based activities, taught by professional staff and experts in their fields, are created to pique student curiosity. Courses include topics such as Forensic Science, Marine Biology, Aviation and Rocketry, Robotics, Creative Writing, Engineering, Finance, and Art! As students visit Ivy league Universities, they will leave with a greater understanding on their path of academics, as well as, a certificate of participation which can be used with college applications. They will also benefit from International connections, new friendships, and lasting memories. |
Social Curriculum
Recreational and ‘team-based’ educational activities will take place on Pomfret's beautiful, historic campus. Residential students will dorm with a roommate, just like Pomfret students do during the school year! Each evening, special activities are prepared for students for social interactions, which is an integral part of our program. Beyond the classroom, we take advantage of the weekend period to venture out to fun-filled field trips to local attractions including, Mystic Seaport, CT, Boston and New York City. |
