Learning Center Administrator
We are seeking a Learning Center Administrator. The administrator will be responsible for the organization, supervision and management of everyday operations of the Learning Center, and the development of learning programs and operations.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage office: students and staff record keeping, budgeting, scheduling, etc.
- Supervise teaching and learning
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and teaching specialists to coordinate learning and teaching
- Representing Boston Roundtable and the center at professional or promotional events.
- Work with company marketing personnel to promote the center
- Perform assigned responsibilities, duties, and tasks with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
- Completion of Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling or STEAM and/or language learning area;
- Three or more year’s related experience including supervision of employees.(A comparable amount of training, education or experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.)
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities; exceptional organizational and analytical skills;
- Knowledge of applicable laws pertaining to employment and education; ability to understand and interpret rules and regulations,
- Skill in budget development and management; prepare and analyze financial reports;
- Familiarity with record keeping software, equipment, and programs; working knowledge of standard office software such as Words, Excel, Google Suite Tools.
- Previous supervisory experience preferred in the following fields: Learning Center front desk clerk; Learning Center teaching Specialists

Marketing Manager
We are seeking a Marketing Manager to assist in all aspects of promoting and publicizing the center. The manager must have 3+ years of experience marketing, preferably in education-related marketing, public relations, or comparable experience.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and execute a marketing plan to promote our learning center programs, including creating and managing online and print promotional campaigns and advertisements (determining the format, writing copy, working with designers and vendors), and assisting with the management of social media (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram).
- Expand and maintain our connections with the educational institutes, finding and facilitating education investments opportunities.
- Ongoing market research and competitive analysis
- 3+ years of marketing experience
- Have strong advertising placement and public relations skills of a diverse nature, social media experience, organizational skills the education industry.
- Working knowledge of school investment
- Connections with private school systems are highly preferable.
- Bachelor Degree in marketing/education related field or equivalent
- Excellent organizational skills, and be an effective time manager and multi-tasker
- Strong, effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to build and maintain local professional relationships

K-12th Grade Coding Afterschool Instructors
We are starting several coding and robotics programs in the center, and are hiring seasoned instructors who have the passion to teach K-12 students in an afterschool or weekend school setting. We need enthusiastic, high-energy technology instructors who must have experience with elementary to middle school age children, and strong technical skills as well as the eagerness and ability to teach.
This is a part-time position. Multi-sessions of classes will run from 3:50 – 6:50om on weekdays, and 9:00am – 3:00pm on weekends. The hourly rate is $30-45/hour commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Cultivate the computational thinking skills for children age 6-17
- Improve student learning in STEM and to inspire students to consider careers in the math, sciences, and computer science. Students also acquire collaboration and communication skills through teamwork based problem solving. The program will run on weekdays afterschool as well as on the weekend.
- Create a hands-on, engaging, age-appropriate learning environment using various programming tools, such as Scratch, Alice, and Python as vehicles of instruction to help students gain exposure to computational thinking, computer programming, science, math, and problem solving.
- Select appropriate curriculum, plan lessons, design assessment to monitor students’ progress, and be able to communicate to students and parents well.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in computer science/ software engineering or related field preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in math/engineering/game design related field also accepted.
- Junior or senior undergraduate CS students with good grades and strong experience also welcome to apply.

K-12th Grade Creative Writing/Interactive Journalism Afterschool Instructors
The creative writing teachers/ interactive journalism instructors will be responsible for the design of curricula in creative writing or interactive journalism, operations of the Learning Center, and the development of learning programs and operations.
This is a part-time position. Multi-sessions of classes will run from 3:50 – 6:50om on weekdays, and 9:00am – 3:00pm on weekends. The hourly rate is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop Project Based writing Curricula and clearly outline both long-term and short-term goals.
- Create lesson plans that with clear learning goals, scaffolding strategies, and activities.
- State the assessment plan to track students’ progress.
- Teach a small class of 4-6 students with excellent classroom management skills and guide students through various parts of creative writing.
- Engage students in writing and online journalism.
- Expose students to a variety of writing genres such as fiction, narrative non-fiction, playwriting, or poetry; keep a right balance between encouraging students to pursue the genre they are interested in and venture into unfamiliar areas.
- Update supervisors and parents with students’ progress.
- Worker closely with the center administrator to retain students.
- Find safe platforms to publish students’ works
- Teach students how to use online Apps and other tech tools in creating interactive journalism
